For my little prince- Ryan
Ryan is such a handsome adorable smart boy who of his parents, of our family and of no doubt, the true naughty with innocent-appearance prince. This slide show is dedicated to you, my charming prince. We had fun at the Chinese Garden during Mid-autumn festival and at East Coast eating Gelare Icecream

Father and Son
(photo by : Vi)
If you stay by my side
We can rule the world-
If walls break down, I will comfort you
If angels cry, oh I’ll be there for you
You've saved my soul
Don’t leave me now, don’t leave me now

"Cruise to no where" with Commontown
The people in these photos below are my Commontown colleagues. We had a fun trip "cruise to no where" last Fri despite some problems had happened to me, despite we also did all the things that we can do in land haha such as karaoke, arcade, board game, clubbing ( believe me, their club sucks!) especially eating . However, in difficulty, I can see that my colleagues didn't leave me behind, in the other hand, they all tried their best to help me, which made me feel so touched and appreciated! After this cruise, everyone in the office would probably know how naughty I am
hahaha
I like to take this type of shot in which people express their feeling naturally and emotionally
Gao Fan - From China, I called him Garfield ( The lazy fat yellow cat), fat and cute hehe
Eric - He secretly captured all my naughty expressions, playing arcade with Lu yee, I'm so embarrassed liao, luckily he took 2 photos of me quite nice, thanks a lot Eric hehe
Donny- Our sale manger, the one who problably cares about beauty the most in Commontown before I came haha, as I care too
. He can sing those old time songs which I think I will never hear again hehe. He like to pose and I like to take photos
Jean- who are so good at sport and very helpful. Thanks for helping me going to ICA, I'm very appreciated of your gesture. maybe next time i can take more photos of you looking happy haha.
Audrey always run away every time I point the camera at her...
Last but not least,
Lu Yee, hehe my cute hamster, hehe but be careful, she is actually very naughty too, that's why we got along fast
My roomates in the cruise
And this is me (taken by Eric as mentioned previously)
Still have more photos, but I run out of time already, gtg now. There are more photos in my Flicr

HAppY CoNvOcATiOn!!!
After 3 years studied in Lasalle, I finally officially graduated this morning, 24 August 2007 at Suntec Convention hall. My 2 honour guests were my mom and my guardian-Stefan. I was so proud with the nice boutique that Lu Yee ordered for me. I was so touched by that, thank you for thousands times Lu Yee. I was so excited and fluttered just when putting on my gown ( pretty heavy and big though). My friends and me took quite a lot of funny photos haha, but this is not to share to public, so sorry!
Everything was fun until my "unforgettable moment" on stage shaking hand with the President. I actually wanted to tell the person who would call my full name how to pronounce my name as "Vi" , or else she must have called me "vai" sth. However, I didnt know whether I said too soft or what matter but she only announced my full name as VI , my goodness, and the President told me softly: "Wow, you have a pretty short name" How embarrassed!
Except for that misunderstanding, I was so happy with the ceremony. Thanks my guests, friends for supporting me.

Something to share
My goodness, It's been long since the last time I updated my blog! I was too busy with my new job to come online at night and typing my blog haha. I actually wanted to talk about my job, my recent life. However, when things happened to me during that day, I was too tired to write, and now things are over, no point repeating right?
It is embarrassed for any designers/or art students to say that they do not have any favorite or admired designers/artists in mind. I would like to share with you my two favorite artists: Simone-the creator, designer of Tokidoki, and Jimmy Liao- a Chinese illustrator
About Jimmy Liao: "Born in Taipei, B.A. in Fine Arts, with a major in Design. He had worked in advertising companies for 12 years.Utilizing images as a refreshing form of literary language,, Jimmy in his works poetic frames that emit charms and appeals."
About Simone: (His photo above, hehe)
"Simone Legno is from Rome, Italy and is a classically trained Italian Illustrator. He is a world renowned artist that could illustrate just about anything beautifully because he is has exceptional talent. But what makes Simone especially unique is Simone loves Japan and lives for Japan"
By the way, Artzmania is a very nice site for designers, collection of best artworks ever, have a look guys! Thanks sis Julie for sharing!

Voice from a distant star
Story by Makota Shinkai
Art by Mizu Sahara
*****
I have love many things.
Like the clouds in the scorching summer heat
and rain that freezes the skin
The scent of cool autumn breezes,
and the gentle softness of the earth during spring;
The cosiness of a convenience store at the dead of night;
The slight chill in the air after school;
The smell of the blackboard duster;
The roar of a faraway truck,
echoing deep in the night...
And I wanted to experience them together, always.
*****
Thanks sis Julie for sharing this comic book. I like the story as well as the illustration so much. It was indeed a sad love story of a couple who are separated not only by distance but also space and time . The only means of staying in touch is through messages via their mobile phones. However, as her mission takes her further into space, the interval at which her messages reach him become longer and longer, from weeks into months, from months into years until both of them stopped waiting. How sad is that. Waiting 1 whole year just for 1 message and by the time u receive it, there are many other things might happen to the one you love while you only know what she did last year! But there are hopes, promises and belief which make some people live for.
I just wanna tell you I love you so much, and by reading that, I have more strength and belief in our love. They are much more suffered than us but they have never given up, why we? I want us to experience everything together, always

Back to Singapore again
Although I came back for 9 days already, I had no time to update my blog except for my bday's photos. Singapore's weather is so dull and cloudy. No sigh of sun since I came back.
During the last few days either I woke up late and brought my sister to SMU to matric or woke up early to cook and do houseworks. My sis's blurriness and inconfidence made me so worried and angry, as to my mind she is a smart girl (she scored so high for her SAT test?) but it turned out she is just so naive in reality. Guess all the online game in the virtual world, indeed, spoils her!
I'm so fed up with Singapore after 3 years already. Any time thinking about working here for 3 more years and only can go back 14 days/year makes me wanna vomit my goodness, I even going to be Singapore permanent resident soon.
About my new job, I was employed as a web designer at Commontown company which is very near my flat now. The job will mostly deal with secondary and primary school in Singapore and some other companies in Japan. I feel stress! The company booked a ship and we will have a trip called "Cruise to nowhere" (sounds scary :-P) For a new comer like me, I kind of unwillingly to go; however, I have no choice but getting to know my colleagues better ...I dun really like to socialize actually....my $100 ...huhu
I only contacts with some of my friends through emails these days, I feel moody
how I wish the call rate to Vietnam can be cheaper... 21 min/card doesnt enough for me at all.

I celebrated my 21st bday in Vietnam and Singapore. That's why 'm so broke now. In Singapore and England's culture 21st bday is a biggest and most important bday of every ppl when they are legally to watch any movies and drink any alcohols. I'm so happy for that; moreover, I wish i'll be 21 forever too. This year bday will be an unforgetable memory for me.
Thanks for being with me until now, I love you all

Interesting unconvetional advertisings
You will see how smart advertisers made use of the environment around us. These are the standards that I want to archive. How creative! I really admired them
1. HP printers : They like to demonstrate their printing steps --> made use of the escalator
2.Using the photo machine to convey a political message
3.I quite like this ambience ad as once ppl put their hands in , they not only helped to complete the ad but also immediately recognised its message and effectiveness
4. This is a very funny and unforgetable ad
5. The person stands in front of the mirror as part of the ad, that's interesting rite?
